I believe this is solid brass. It weighs close to 8 pounds. It is approximately 10" in height, 8" in length and 5 1/2" in width. I've had him packed away for about 10 years and in this time, there has been some oxidation. I have not attempted to clean or polish, because I prefer people to see the true condition. Manufactured in India with Eales of Sheffield etched on the bottom. It may possibly be silverplate with a brass finish because the bottom looks like silverplate. Highly intricate etching covers almost the entire body of the vase. Measures approximately 10 1/4 inches in height. The opening is not entirely round and don't know if it was intended to be this way.
