Don't know if this plate or solid, but was made in India. It is 6 5/8" in height and 4" across the base. I've used it off and on for years, but have managed to remove most residual wax. It is a safer way to burn candles and makes an attractive sight when lighted. There is aging to the brass but no actual damage. I will be happy to provide additional photos upon request. Nice heavy double frame measuring 15" in width and 10" in height. It has a gold foil matting, which could be changed to different material and increase the number of photos displayed. It could easily hold 3 photos. There are no manufacturing marks or labels. The back is very easy to remove and the little latches are all present.
