This is the bottom only to a vintage vanity or jewelry casket. The bottom is stamped in blue with 7696. It measures 6 x 4 1/4 x 1 1/2 inches. The gold trim shows extensive wear and a couple of minor manufacturing flaws. I have no idea of what the lid looks like and had only bought it because it looked like an antique bathtub.
