Before I go any further, let me clearly state this vase has nothing to do with Franciscan Desert Rose. I've had it for over 20 years and never really thought about what the flowers were until I decided to sell and tried to identify the flower. The desert rose seems to be pretty much of a match. Impressive piece with a molded fruit design which borders the avocado green pottery serving sections. The handle is surrounded by a leaf design. I am not sure the type of metal the handle is made from, but it shows little signs of age and has a nice tight fit with no wiggle. There are no chips, cracks or breaks.
