Vintage brass candle holders. These have always reminded me of altar candlesticks due to their size. They are 14 inches in height and weigh close to 3 pounds (each). The base is octagon shaped. They are not marked as solid, but certainly look and feel like solid brass, and since I've had them packed away for almost 10 years in my dampish basement and show no damage, I would think they would be solid. This lamp is marked 1971 by the L & L WMC Co. The globe has been broken for years, but I replaced it with a white one and it looked like it was supposed to be that color. It continued the basic layered look, and unless you are fortunate enough to have the original globe, then a white one is about as good as it gets.
