Unmarked vintage bowl in what, I believe, is the Virginia Rose shape (not the pattern, but basic shape). The green finish is in what some people call airbrush spray, paint misting or mist spray. There is a small amount of green paint in the floor of the bowl from the manufacturer. I have never seen one of these bowls without the stray paint spots. I always thought the design around the rim looked like old timey hair pins like my grandmother used in her bun...

I have heard this pattern called Golden Wheat, but there are so many HL patterns by the same name, that I decided just to call it Wheat. There are two matching areas on the inside of the rim, which maybe chips, or it could be the way it was made. There is a small nick to the lid. I hesitated to call this the "Brittany" shape, but is as close as I can match the sugar dish to any HL shape. It is backstamped as Homer Laughlin Lead Free USA MMC.
