The box is dated 1975, but the Fishing Guide for Bait and Tackle is dated 1961. Wish I knew more information on this piece. I've had it for years and bought it because I thought it was charming and didn't want it to come to harm. It might possibly have been a handicraft. Lovely dogwood vase, by the much unappreciated Pigeon Forge Potteries. They have been closed since 2000 and maybe now people will begin to recognize the quality of their products. The interior is blue as most of the Dogwood pieces were. It measures a bit over 4 inches in height and 4 1/4 inches in width. No chips, cracks, breaks or roughness.
