I always wanted to like these owls, but somehow the green sparkly eyes bothered me. Actually, they are quite well made and detailed. They measure approximately 10 1/4 x 6 1/2 inches. They have hanging wires embedded in the back. There is some manufacturing information on the back of one, but it is so faded as to be unreadable. I've had this set for many years, but still don't know much about it - I am not even sure if this lid was made to go with it. This is the way it was sold to me.
