Ceramic Bunny Mother and Baby

This figurine was given as a present in 1987 (it is written on the bottom). It is 5 1/2" in height and 3 1/2" across the base. There are no manufacturer's mark or indication of where it was made. I would think it was probably from Taiwan, because most items like this had stopped being made in Japan. The mama bunny has a surprised look on her face. There are no chips, cracks or breaks.
