Vintage teapot manufactured by Ellgreave (part of the Wood and Sons China of England). This particular teapot is ironstone. It holds approximately 18 ounces and is 4 1/2 inches in height (including knob). It was manufactured in the late seventies or early eighties. I have never made tea in it, but rather it was part of my teapot collection. It has no structural damage, but has manufacturing flaws including a couple of tiny dots of gold paint at the base from the handwritten gold lettering on the bottom. One tiny dark spot on the handle which was on it when purchased. I will be happy to provide additional photos or answer any questions. I need your zip code to calculate the postage.
