Mask Brooch

Wish I could give you a date of manufacture, but as with most of my jewelry, it was bought used. It is a heavy goldtone piece and has no maker's marks that I can find. To me, it has always had a mystical quality, but that is certainly open to interpretation. It is quite a large piece, measuring 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches.
