Vintage Reindeer Box

8 inch dresser box. For the last 15 or so years, my daughter and I have been in disagreement over the creature on the lid. She says reindeer and I tend to think it is more mythological (can't find any info to support my theory). I have no idea of the manufacturer or age. There are some bits of stray paint on the lid. There are several small areas of damage on the lid and a serious crack on the side of the bottom, which at some point will need repair. Please email for additional photos to show the problems.
