Japan China stoneware. Woodberry Collection is the style, not the pattern name. I am not sure of the pattern name, as I've not been able to find an exact match. The design on the knob of the cover is rather distinctive and should help identify the pattern. No damage to either piece. I will be happy to provide additional photos for identifying purposes.
