Staved Wood Planter

I hate to tell people how ignorant I am, because after toting this heavy piece all over the country and calling it "a bowl," my children finally told me that it was a planter. Nevertheless, I really love it and continue to use it as a nut bowl. The staves are about 1/2 inches thick. It is approximately 11 inches in width and 5 3/4 inches in height. It weighs close to 5 pounds and is most substantial. The staves are separate with no adhesive. It is not water tight. There are 4 holes on the sides and 4 in the bottom.
