Royal Copley Rooster

Years ago, while visiting family in North Carolina, I found this rooster and the matching hen at an estate sale. The set survived the sale, the trip back home to Florida, a move from Florida to Alabama and a trip to visit my sister. My sister has collected rooster objects for many years, and I had bought these as a present for her. After all the miles the set had survived, as I handed her the hen, it slipped through the wrapping paper and shattered to bits in her kitchen. Anyway, the survivor is 8 1/4 inches in height.
