We have seen a lot of bottles but this has to be one of the most unique we've ever had. It is a hand-finished bottle manufactured in Great Britain. It has an indented shape all around, probably to facilitate holding which is very unique for its time. We don't know what this may have held - it could have been medicine, alcohol or some food product such as cooking oil - who knows. Great inscription with what looks like a reg number and "In Gt. This is a very nicely colored wine jug, not sure how old it is but we have not seen too many of these in our travels. Holds a gallon for sure. No chips, cracks etc. We do not have the cap sorry.
Fabulous and Rare Antique Liquor Bottle with the original wood stopper. Stopper is marked with a # 2 and "Gem Stopper Co. Phila. PA" on it. original wire mounting. This is a 19th Century bottle, hand finished and in MINT condition. Very thick, deep olive glass, lots of bubbles and a very rare find.
Great novelty ashtray from the 1960s with a humorous catch line. In unused condition. Get a piece of the 1960s in your home. Great conversation piece for the bar.
This is another unique liquor bottle, probably French made or at least French inspired because it has a picture of a Napoleonic soldier still on it. Tall and slender form.
Piso's Cure For Consumption is one of the most collectible of medicine bottles. This bottle probably dates from around late 19th Century. The active ingredient in this medicine was cannabis - THC specifically - and it apparently worked to a degree. Was used to treat tuberculosis. Green color, about 5-6" high.
Webb's Stubby Beverages Bottle circa 1940s or maybe 1950s. Has the original painted stubby guy on the front and the "zip in every sip" message on the back. Kind of a stubby bottle around 6" high.
Very old Celery Compound solution - not sure what ailments this was for other than knowing celery is good for you. Probably from around early 1900s. Bottle has a large curved shaped interior crack - looks original to the bottle when it is made and is around 6 inches long. It goes up and then curves back down again. This does not affect the exterior surface of the bottle.
This is a rare bottle - a late 19th Century bottle made for "JNO WYETH & BRO" and "Philadelphia" also "LIQ. EXT. MALT".There is remants of original label, Beautiful hand-finished relic that is in perfect condition - no chips, no cracks.
