This is a strange one-of-a-kind box, from circa mid 1850s. Hand-made dovetails, and original tin bottom. Inscribed "Joseph H Ward" on the top - the boxes likely maker and original owner. This box has a clasp to close but has never had hinges on it. Appears there used to be some type of swivel mechanism the lid turned on - very strange. The box also has two drilled holes on one side, original to its making. We have no idea what this box was used for. Originates in State of Ohio, USA. ...click for details

This is an extremely rare find and imported into Canada direct from Australia. This is a true antique Australian Shepard's Chair. Made of wood the back separates from the chair for carrying pieces. Very ornately carved - Cherubs, vines and stars and a heart-shaped center cut - so cool! The back rest has two large cracks in it. Not sure what kind of wood this would be but it has a great patina.
