Blue Ridge dinnerware was produced by Southern Potteries of Erwin, Tennessee in the late 1930s to 1956. This colorful pattern is named Mardi Gras. This is a Hall China teapot in the "Red Poppy" pattern; it is the New York style. It is about 5" tall including finial. It measures about 9-1/2" from spout to handle. The silver trim and the red poppy decoration are in super condition; no wear. There are 2 very small glaze chips on the inside of the lid. Also, there is a bruise/chip on the inner rim of the pot.
