Friction Rocket Space Ship - Toy - Mint In Box

This 50 plus year old Mint Condition Toy was made in the USA by, Automatic Toy Corp. 77 Alaska Street, Staten Island, NY. Measures 9" long, by 4 1/2" wide and 2 1/2" tall approx. Includes Original Box with great graphics. Box says "Friction Motor Shoots Sparks as it Speeds Along". Box has some storage ware. Toy is in near mint condition with some slight tiny scratches (see pics). They don't take away from how nice this item is. Will display very well. Made in late 40's to early 50's, back when space exploration was only a dream. This toy reminds me of Flash Gordon and Buck Rodgers, who made movies long before the special effect ones of Star Wars and Star Trek.
