This is a very pretty McCoy flowerpot from the butterfly line of the 1940’s! Flowerpot is a matte pastel aqua color, measures 3 5/8” tall, 3 3/4” diameter.
Bottom is marked with overlapping NM, and USA.
Flowerpot is in wonderful condition with only “use” evidence being a 3/4” superfine and tight interior hairline – like a pencil mark or a craze!
This is a very nice addition to a McCoy Butterfly Line collection.

Beautiful McCoy vase from the Arcature line of 1951! Vase is gray with burgundy color bird. Measures 6 1/8” long, 2 ¾” wide, 6 5/8” tall and is in excellent condition with minor crazing. Has been used as a planter and has a faint stain line. It also has some typical McCoy glaze skips/color runs. Marked on bottom: McCoy, USA and it has 2 incised letter “I”.
McCoy’s vases from the 1951 Arcature line are becoming difficult to find! This one is 6 ¾” tall and is in the pretty yellow and green color scheme and the little bird is white with blue accent color. Vase has a 1” interior stress – it’s production. It has crazing that is not unusual with this color. Bottom is marked: McCoy, USA. As with many McCoy items, this one has some McFlaws that are particularly interesting! There a couple burgundy color dots (under the glaze and not detracting)...

ANOTHER EXCEPTIONAL ESTATE PIECE -- MCCOY'S ART DECO VASE! IT IS SOMETIMES REFERRED TO AS "BIRDS" BECAUSE THE DESIGN SOMEWHAT RESEMBLES UPRAISED WINGS. VASE MEASURES 9 1/8" TALL AND IS MARKED ON BOTTOM: MCCOY. IT IS WHITE WITH A SEMI-MATTE FINISH AND HAS NO EVIDENCE OF EVER BEING USED - IT LOOKS NEW! IT HAS SOME TYPICAL MCCOY PRODUCTION GLAZE DRIPS AND HAS A MOST INTERESTING FLAW THAT WAS CORRECTED PRIOR TO FIRING. APPARENTLY THE CLAY FLAKED ALONG ONE RIM -- IT WAS SMOOTHED BY HAND AND IT NOW HA...

Cute little unmarked McCoy duck planter!
Little duck measures 3 5/8” tall (at tallest) and he’s an unusual color. He’s a pretty green color but his front half has a darker underlying color (extends back to his wings) while the rest is green.
He has a couple production rubs (non-color/glaze) on one wing and one on his chest – they are production and of no consequence! The only “use” evidence I could find is a 1/16” glaze ding on rim edge – that’s it! -- not detri...

There’s a green one and a pale yellow one – both are in wonderful condition with no chips or cracks. They have lost most of the cold paint from their beaks and feet.
Neat little planters perfect for a small cactus!

Difficult to find McCoy mugs! I purchased a dozen of these mugs at an estate sale and have divided them into 3 listings. These are barrel shape mugs in black with hand painted (cold paint) flowers on fronts, measure 4 ¾” tall, and have the #4 in a shield in a circle mark. They have typical McFlaws – rough places, visible stilt marks, etc -- very common on McCoy’s older items. Mugs are in wonderful condition with only “use” evidence being minor wear to the cold painted flowers and a fe...
McCoy’s basket cookie jars are so neat – this one is the basket of eggs!

Marked on bottom: 0274, McCoy, Lancaster Colony (mark), USA.
Cookie jar is in wonderful condition. It has some typical production McFlaws – few dots of color under the glaze – not detrimental in any way! There is also a glazed over stress line inside bottom of jar – again not detrimen...

It’s in wonderful condition with a couple dings/flea bites on lid’s dry ring (not worth mentioning) and a color pop on bottom of jar (again, not worth mentioning).
Interior bottom has a couple craze marks.

This is a colorful McCoy cookie jar – it’s the basket of eggs produced 1977-79!
The lid has a ½” production stress at the base -- typical McFlaw. The only evidence of use is minor -- the bottom has a teeny ding (not worthy of mention) and a 1/8” ding on inside rim edge – not detrimental – that’s it!
Bottom is marked: 0274, McCoy, Lancaster Colony (mark), USA.

This is such a pretty unmarked McCoy flowerpot -- it’s the basketweave design from 1932!
It measures 3 3/4” tall and is a gorgeous aqua/green color with shiny over-glaze.
Other than a dirt stain line where pot is attached to saucer, there is no “use” evidence! It has a 3/16” production stress at rim that extends 1/4” inside – this stress is production and the cause can easily be seen – there’s an extra pottery line that runs down from the stress – absolutely no...
