Produced in 1972, this is McCoy’s Hamm’s Bear cookie jar! Bottom is marked 148, USA and jar is in excellent condition – no chips, no cracks, has very minor crazing on his face. The top of one ear has a color rub/non-color – production and not detrimental in any way. As with every one of these jars that I’ve seen, the lid does not fit snugly. Again, this is production and is not detrimental. This cookie jar is a super nice addition to any collection.

This is a difficult to find McCoy cookie jar – the tee pee! Jar has beautiful color and is marked: McCoy, USA, 137. It has crazing that has darkened at bottom interior and exterior – not unusual and is caused by shortening used in cookies. The only “use” evidence is a ¼” slice type chip at the bottom edge of the lid (has been color touched-up so it is not glaringly noticeable). Jar measures 11 1/8” tall and retains the majority of the original cold paint. Very nice addition to any collection!

Absolutely beautiful Hall cookie jar that’s loaded with gold trim! Bottom is stamped: FlareWare by Hall China, Made in USA. Jar measures 9 1/8” tall (to top of handle) and is in excellent condition. The only evidence of “use” is a barely visible Y shaped glaze break on exterior bottom – it doesn’t go through and appears to be very superficial. Do not be deterred by my description – this is an eye-catching cookie jar!

I added this cute cookie jar to my collection several years ago – this is Treasure Craft’s “granny” jar! The colors are exceptional and she sat on top of our refrigerator where she beautifully accented our blue décor. Granny is a large jar – measures approximately 13” tall. The lid is the top of her head and the handle is a hair comb. As commonly occurs with these shape fitted lids, it is not a tight fit. She’s in excellent condition – you’ll love this jar!

Made by Enesco, this is the very difficult to find blue dress Prayer Lady cookie jar! She measures 9 ¾” tall and bottom still has the original Enesco foil sticker. In wonderful condition – has a couple teeny, teeny dings on jar rim that really aren’t worthy of mention. She has a 1/16” glaze ding in her hair (see photo) – it’s superficial and is glaze color only – that’s it!! Super addition to a collection.
