This listing has a rare color McCoy pepper cookie jar – it’s brown (or brownish red) color! The jar is in good to very good condition – it has no cracks but the dry ring (underneath) has some chips (see photo). I would surmise that prior owner chipped off glaze/pottery pools because as you see in photo, the chips are fresh/recently done. The lid has a ¼” production stress on inner rim (not visible when on he jar). One leaf has had a slice type glaze chip that has been re-glued...

Super condition McCoy cookie jar! This one has assorted painted vegetables and is cylindrical shaped. This style jar was produced 1946 through 1954 and the bottom is marked McCoy. Jar has no chips, dings, or cracks – an excellent addition to any collection and a very colorful jar to display on a kitchen counter!

This listing has a McCoy Caboose cookie jar! Produced in 1961, this is the “Cookie Special” and bottom is marked McCoy, USA. As with so many of the cold painted cookie jars, there is missing cold paint – could be easily repainted if you desire but I always like them as is. The only “use” evidence (other than the missing cold paint) is a teeny ding on inside of one corner of the lid. This cookie jar is truly a find for any collection!

Another super condition Shawnee Smiley Pig cookie jar lid! Jar has no chips or dings but has some production dark spots under glaze – that’s it!

Another super nice Shawnee cookie jar lid – this one is “Smiley” Pig! Lid is in excellent condition with no evidence of “use” – it has a few dark places on top of head that are production and not detrimental.

I purchased this Shawnee cookie jar lid at an Indiana sale – this is a lid for the “Lucky” elephant cookie jar! It is in very good condition but it appears that prior owner has painted/re-painted the ears, collar, etc. Other than that, lid is in wonderful condition with a glaze bruise on underneath side of bow – not detrimental in any way. Neat item!

McCoy produced several lid variations for this type basketweave bottom cookie jar – this jar has the more difficult to find pine cones lid! This cookie jar goes well with a rustic or primitive decorating theme. Jar is in very good condition – it has three teen glaze dings on interior rim and there is a super tight 1” hairline (like a pencil mark) – I would not rate any as detrimental. There is some discolored crazing that occurs from shortening used in cookies – again, not detracting...

This cookie jar would be a wonderful gift for a cookie jar collector! Made by American Bisque, this is the toy soldier cookie jar. Measures 11 ½” tall at tallest, bottom back is marked USA 742, and is in wonderful condition. There is light crazing and interior bottom crazing has a small amount of darkening (caused by shortening in cookies) – nothing detrimental or distracting in any way. There’s a teeny 1/16” ding on rim of jar – again, not detracting...

Excellent condition McCoy Granny cookie jar! This is the grandma with red dress cookie jar produced 1972-75. Jar has no chips, cracks, or dings. It does have some overspray on bottom that occurred during production and is not unusual on this jar (overspray also occurs on Raggedy Ann jars) – it’s just the way they were painted. This is an excellent addition to a collection!

This is a colorful McCoy cookie jar – it’s the basket of eggs produced 1977-79! The lid has a ½” production stress at the base and the bottom has a teeny ding and a 1/8” ding on inside rim edge – not detrimental – that’s it! Bottom is marked: 0274, McCoy, Lancaster Colony (mark), USA. Very nice jar with minor imperfections and priced to reflect being a little less than perfect!

Produced only 1967-68, this is McCoy’s fireplace cookie jar and it retains a lot of the original cold paint! It is in very good condition with several slice type chips on bottom dry ring (see photos). Bottom is marked USA. Nice cookie jar, nicely priced!

This listing has a McCoy yellow pepper cookie jar! Instead of the lemony yellow color usually found on these jars, this one is a rich deep yellow – like smile face cups! Jar is in wonderful condition with minor bottom (interior) crazing and there are a few slightly darkened craze marks on top – a few are visible with lid on the jar. The lid (underneath) has a few small (1/4”) production stress marks – they are production, not from “use”...
