Catalog: Pottery and Stoneware: Shawnee

We purchased this Shawnee combination cookie jar/bank at an Indiana estate sale and it is truly a treasure to add to a collection!

Winnie is in excellent condition – unbelievable – no nibbles at the coin slot (I don’t believe the bank portion was ever used).

There is some tape/glue residue on the underneath part of the lid that I would surmise was taped to cover the 3 production holes (so cookies would stay fresh)...

This listing has a mint condition Shawnee Pottery vintage wishing well planter with a Dutch boy at one end of planter and a Dutch girl at the other.

Planter is marked Shawnee, USA, 710 and measures 5 1/2" tall.

The color is outstanding with unbelievable mold detail. The closer you examine this piece, the more you appreciate its beauty and excellent workmanship!

It's marked 775, USA and has handwritten price of 49 cents -- wow!

Planter has a bright yellow interior with shiny over-glaze. Exterior is green with in-mold "wood grain". The enamel wheel studs are intact (these are very often missing!)...

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL SHAWNEE BUD VASE! MEASURES 5 3/4" TALL, IS BRIGHT YELLOW WITH SHINY GLAZE, AND IS MARKED USA. HAS IN-MOLD DESIGN OF CLOVER BLOOMS. THIS IS AN ATTRACTIVELY STYLED VASE WITH A LOVELY DESIGN AND BEAUTIFUL COLOR. MINT CONDITION -- LOOKS NEW!

This is a beautiful Shawnee planter -- a yellow deer standing by a green stump! This planter has beautiful mold details and color.

Bottom is marked: USA, 624. It is in wonderful condition with one very teeny ding on back bottom rim edge -- not noticeable and not detracting in any way!

This planter is a wonderful addition to a Shawnee collection!!

This listing has an exceptional unmarked Shawnee planter of a zebra by a stump!

The base (stump, etc) is a really pretty dark green color with shiny over-glaze. Zebra is, of course, white with black.

Planter has handwritten price of $1.00 on dry ring! It is in excellent condition with no evidence of "use"...

The base is pink, bird is soft white with green wings, green eyes, and pink beak.

This listing has very nice Shawnee salt and pepper shakers -- they are the range size shakers (5 ¼” tall) and are from the Sunflower line of the late 1940’s!

Shakers are marked USA and are in very good condition – the pepper has some discoloration at the top (not unusual) and there is some discoloration at the base edge on both shakers (again, not unusual when kept near a heat source).

Both shakers are marked USA and they do not have stoppers...
