Definitely one of McCoy's most peculiar planters and a difficult find -- this is Cope's "faces" planter! It's in the colors of rustic line, measures 5 3/4" tall, top is 6 3/4" x 5 3/4". One side has 4 faces peering from leaves, other side has 3 faces. Marked on bottom: McCoy. In great condition with no chips, no cracks, no crazing. Has been used as intended and it has interior staining. Neat item, highly sought by collectors.
If you collect McCoy pottery, this is a find and if you collect McCoy flower pots, this will be a treasured addition to a collection! This flower pot pattern is what I refer to as basket with leaves, it’s a pretty matte blue color, and it’s the difficult to find smaller (3 ½”) size! This listing has an extra nice McCoy fruit shaped planter! This is the pear on leaf and bottom is marked McCoy, USA. Planter has no chips, dings, or cracks! It has been used as intended and has minor crazing. Interior has in-mold initial “s” and bottom still has original ink price of 69 cents – wow!
Another excellent condition McCoy planter that has been in my collection for many years! This is the Old Mill planter produced by McCoy in 1953. Planter is marked McCoy, USA. Fisherman has the original “fishing line” so often missing on these planters and still retains a small amount of his original cold paint.

Bottom is marked McCoy and planter is in excellent condition with no “use” evidence. It has a couple typical McFlaws (pin-pops) that are not detrimental in any way!
This listing has a very nice McCoy pear planter! It has lovely colors and bottom is marked McCoy, USA. Planter has typical McCoy production flaws – a couple non-color/glaze dots on one side and uneven glaze – it also has prominent mold lines (somewhat unusual on this style planter). The only “use” evidence is a super tight ¼” hairline (looks like a craze mark), two 1/8” dings on leaves (barely noticeable!).
