Neat sewing box made by Hommer Manufacturing Company of Newark 5, New Jersey, USA! It’s “marbleized” red plastic with clear plastic lid that shows two kittens playing with a ball of yarn. Box measures 8” x 6” (at bottom), lid is hinged and works great. It’s in super condition with minor scuff marks from use/storage – nothing detrimental! Box is the perfect size to hold a cross-stitch project so you can keep everything in one place – but would also be a really neat jewelry box!

This is one of the nicest pin cushion/sewing centers I’ve seen! Still in the original box, it’s shaped like a “candlestick” telephone. It measures 6 ¼” tall, holds scissors in the back, thimble rests on the earpiece, tape measure is in bottom (and it works!), and pins go in the center of the “dial”. The letters spell “pin cushion”! There is no evidence of wear or “use” – it has minor crazing – that’s it! Super collectible sewing item!

Made by American Thread Company, these are vintage “Ring a Round o’ Crochet” hemstitched circles along with an instruction/pattern pamphlet! The material measures 11” x 12 ¼” and there are 36 circles. The pamphlet has instructions for preparing the circles for crochet and there are instructions for Irish Crochet design, Medallion design, “Daintee” design, Spider design, etc. The pamphlet shows a copyright date of 1941. If you crochet doilies, you’ll love these wonderful items from the past!
