This is one of the most unusual and work intensive hankies we have in inventory! We’ve taken a close-up photo but I don’t believe the workmanship can be fully appreciated so I’ll try to describe. The hanky measures 11” x 11”, the edging is another ¾”. The rick-rack is a double row, shaped into circles – the center of each has a spoke type chain stitch which forms the circle shape and a chain stitch connects each circle shape together. Sometimes a hanky’s crochet design or the intricacy of the crochet edging will catch my attention – this handkerchief did just that! The hanky is white, crochet edging is yellow with a flower and 2 leaves design worked into the crochet. Measures 11 1/8” x 11 3/8” the crochet edge is an additional 1 ¼” – the workmanship is outstanding!

This hanky has beautiful, bright colors! Handkerchief is red with a floral bouquet that covers most of the hanky – these are large yellow Chrysanthemums (or Asters) accented with some smaller yellow, white, and blue flowers. Measures 12 ¼” x 12 ¾” and is in excellent condition.

I’ve grouped two Counting Calories hankies into one listing! Both show different food and drinks, one hanky has yellow edge/hem while the other has red. The yellow hem hanky measures 13 ¼” x 12 ½”, the red one is 13 ½” x 13 ½” – both are in excellent condition with soft colors.
