This is indeed a find – a compact size evening bag! It has a snake-chain type handle and opens on each side with one side having a mirror, a comb, a lipstick cylinder, and compact (the lipstick cylinder and compact are empty, never filled). The other side will hold cigarettes, money, business cards, etc. It is stamped Made in U.S.A. and based on the interwoven metal styling of the evening bag, I believe this to be a Dorset Rex production. Excellent addition to a collection!

Another neat Evening in Paris gift set and the box with this set has outstanding artwork! This set has a 1 fl. oz. bottle of Eau de Cologne and a smaller bottle of perfume. Both bottles appear to be full. The perfume has been opened and some has spilled onto the label causing a tiny amount of fading – not detrimental. The shape of the Eau de Cologne bottle is art deco and is not the shape we usually find – very neat!
