The colors on this pretty hanky are somewhat unusual! The hanky is white with a blue border that has blue with white rosebuds all around. The central design is a large tan, brown, and white rose with blue leaves and stem! The rolled and stitched hem is tan color to beautifully coordinate with the color of the large rose! Hanky measures 14 ¾” x 14 ¾” and is in excellent condition. Based on the style and design of this handkerchief, I would surmise it is a Burmel production.

This “Burmel Original” hanky has lots of detail! The hanky is white with a bouquet of orange poppies in each corner with an orange “ribbon” connecting them. Between the bouquets, the ribbons have 3 “bows” that are tied around small bouquets of gold and blue flowers. The hanky border has lots of little orange flowers and gold with blue center flowers and scattered around the center of the hanky are orange color rosebuds. This is a gorgeous hanky – light blue color with pink color poppy blooms in each corner! Measures 12” x 11 ½” and is in wonderful condition. It has a tiny storage spot (middle right toward edge in photo) that may launder out with pre-soak or spot treatment – I’m not certain so have placed hanky in the $10 and less hanky category.

This lovely hanky has a border of lots of pink flowers and a “ribbon” with bows! It measures 13” x 13” and is in wonderful condition with a tiny separation at hem and there’s a small storage spot on one edge (by hem). I do not spot treat or bleach vintage linens and this spot may wash out if spot treated – I don’t know so am placing it in the $10 and less hanky category.
