This listing has a lovely vintage Whiting Davis mesh handbag!

It has soft subtle colors in the design (it reminds me of peacock feathers) and is in very good condition with only minor “use” evidence.

There are two small places where fringe has separated from the bottom of the handbag and probably is a simple repair but I would enjoy as is.

The interior lining has a few very small holes – it feels like silk – the few holes are very tiny and not detrimental...

I purchased this lovely evening bag at an estate sale and it was listed as a “knit bag with beaded flowers” – that was very incorrect! The body and carry strap of this purse are made of navy blue color material and it is covered with beadwork – not knitting! The roses, leaves, and the center navy blue band are obviously beads and what appears to be knitting at first glance is actually more beadwork and it’s beautiful! THIS LITTLE PURSE IS A DEFINITE HARD-TO-FIND! IT'S A MINIATURE METAL RING MESH BAG WITH A SINGLE CHAIN HANDLE. HAS CLASP TYPE CLOSURE AND IS SILVER COLOR THAT HAS DARKENED WITH AGE. MEASURES 5" LONG FROM CHAIN HANDLE (EXTENDED) TO BOTTOM OF PURSE, THE PURSE MEASURES 2 3/4" X 2". VERY NICE!

Beautiful Mandalian Mfg. Co. metal mesh handbag!

As often happened with this type handbag, the metal is heavy and it has a tendency to pull free at the hinged area of the purse frame. I’ve looked at this area and it appears to be repairable – by a professional or someone with a lot of patience, unfortunately, I’m neither. :) There are 3 short (broken) chains in the fringe...

This is the first Josef beaded bag that I purchased for my collection! I loved it so much that I began searching for more and over the years found fewer than a dozen...

This is the last of the Josef handbags from my collection! This one is a beaded bag, has interior label “Bag by…Josef, Hand Made in Italy”. It is navy blue and interior is also navy blue.

Because of its construction and shape, it is somewhat difficult to measure...

This Enid Collins box purse is titled “Glad Money” and it is in super condition with the only evidence of “use” being a few scuffs and minor wear to the edges!

Handbag is clean inside (has a couple minor marks) and the exterior beads are all present.

The measurements are 8 5/8" x 6 1/2" x 2 3/4" -- these are outside measurements with the handbag closed...

This Josef handbag has been a part of my vintage collection for many years! Josef bags are rather difficult to find – over the years, I collected less than a dozen.

This one has bronze color beads and is clutch style with tension closure. It has two interior labels – “Bonwit Teller” and “Bags by Josef, hand beaded in Japan”.

The original Bonwit Teller mirror is included as well as a small black coin purse...

Another super Enid Collins handbag -- this one is titled “Pot O’ Gold” and is a Collins of Texas purse.

I think it's especially neat because at first glance, the main design appears to be a face -- the coins and beads are strategically and intentionally placed for eyes, nose, and mouth -- but when you look closer/again, you can see that it is indeed a pot filled with "gold" coins.

The linen exterior is very clean with no stains or spots and all beads/decorations are present...

Another beautiful handbag from my collection, I never used it only displayed at Christmas!

It’s beaded with a design on front and back that reminds me of poinsettias.

It is clean inside and out (there are a couple of small non-detrimental discolorations (like dots on the exterior bottom).

Interior label has “TMC Brand, Tupelo, Missi., Made in Korea”.

For sparkle, the snap closure has two aurora borealis rhinestones...

This listing has an Enid Collins wooden box bag!

It is titled “Money Tree II”, measures 11 1/16” long, 8 1/16” tall, and 2 ¾” wide (closed).

Purse is in very good vintage condition – interior has one black spot (ink or marker), exterior has very minor “use” evidence.

There are no missing beads or coins.

Front of purse has “Money Tree II” in one lower corner, the other lower corner has “ec” and copyright symbol...

This is an unusual Collins handbag – it’s a wooden box bag without “jewels”! The only ornamentation on this one is a pretty carved wooden piece that is attached to the front of the purse.

Handbag has minor evidence of “use” – some scuffs and inside bottom has a few ink marks.

Overall condition is very good on this difficult to find Collins handbag!

This is another neat compact from the 1940’s! It’s made of ivory color plastic and has in-mold rose spray on lid. One side has a regular mirror with magnifying mirror on inside and rouge with puff. The other side has a mirror and pressed powder (puff and powder are missing) and it has lipstick in the handle. Great collectible!

Simply exquisite! This listing has a beautiful vintage handmade beaded evening bag. It has interior label “Hand Made in Belgium” and handbag measures 7 ¾” x 4 1/8”.

I purchased this handbag many, many years ago and I believe it was (and is) in the original box. The original owner wrote on the box in pencil “Brought from overseas, Hand-Made in Belgium”. I never used or displayed this beautiful purse...

Super neat hat! Interior band has: The Knox, “Argentine Knight”, Genuine Panama.

It was made for and sold by DeJongs of Evansville, Indiana (a department store long out of business).

There is also a tag that shows hat fits a 22 head size.

The frame, closure and single link chain style carry strap/handle are made of Ivoryite. The alumesh handbag is a soft white color.

The handbag measures 11" X 6 3/4" and is in excellent condition -- always pampered -- inside and out -- there's a 1/4" white mark by the interior pocket -- that's it!

Purse has cloth label/tag -- "Alumesh, Whiting & Davis Co. Bags, Made in U.S.A., Pat...

Super Whiting Davis alumesh handbag! It has ivoryite frame, closure, and double link chain style carry handle.

Excellent condition with clean interior – prior owner has removed the Whiting Davis tag/label. Measures 8” x 7” (not including clasp type closure).

This listing has another lovely Whiting Davis alumesh handbag! The shape of this one is more “flat”, it has ivoryite frame, closure, and single link chain style carry strap/handle. The clasp closure has simple carving accents.

Purse has Whiting Davis tag/label and is in wonderful condition with clean interior. Measures 9” x 7 ½” (to frame, not including closure).
