Excellent condition glove dryers! These were made by Handiform, 389 Fifth Avenue, New York 16. Dryers are in the original box (clear plastic cover/lid is missing) and instructions for use are inside box. If you collect and/or wear vintage gloves, you need glove dryers to properly shape your gloves while they are drying after laundering. Super neat item!
This is an unusual item and quite a find! When I purchased this item at an antique shop, the seller’s tag described it as a “make-up bag”, however, I believe it to be an evening bag. It has two interior “pockets” with elasticized top edges. The pockets run the length of the handbag. Interior has “Dorset, Fifth Avenue”. Handbag measures 8” x 3 ½”. When opened it opens half – the hinges keep it for folding/falling completely open...
Ooh, la, la – what a gorgeous hat! It’s red with red bow, red netting, and red feathers – one feather has some black for added eye-appeal. So pretty!
This is a super neat hat – it’s completely covered with flowers! They’re mostly roses (mauve color and peachy/pink color) accented with small pink and mauve flowers and green leaves. Hat looks new!
I’ve grouped these items together and I think you’ll love them! There is a blue netting head covering with an attached blue velvet bow. The netting can also be worn over the woven blue color band/cage style hat. The other band/cage style has and blue and green feathers and can be worn by itself or with the blue netting placed over it! All pieces are in super condition – the netting hat has a small hole below the blue bow caused by using a bobby pin. Very pretty items!
Excellent condition – new old stock – lilies of the valley handkerchief! It’s yellow with scalloped hem and the design is a beautiful spray of lilies of the valley. This hanky is a “Flower of the Month” hanky and still has the original sticker/label. The other sticker has “Lily of The Valley Hawthorn For May, by Kimball”. Hanky measures 15” x 15”.
I have collected vintage clothing and related items for many years and this is the only glove drying/shaping set I’ve ever seen for the longer length gloves! They measure 14” in length (end of middle finger to top – not including the hanger). Always well cared for and stored in the original box – super!!
Neat and somewhat unusual M.A. Hadley items – a hand soap dispenser and a hand lotion dispenser! Bottles measure approximately 8 ½” tall (at tallest) and both are in excellent condition. Great gift for the Hadley collector!
I am always drawn to unusual vintage handbags and this one is unusual! It’s navy blue, measures 11 ½” x 4 1/8”x 1 ½” (closed). It opens to approximately 4”. Purse is clean both inside and out and is in excellent condition!
Purchased several years ago at a sale in Indiana, this is a navy blue handbag made by bienen-davis! It is in excellent condition with a couple storage marks – see photo – and is clean both inside and out. Top quality handbag!
I have always loved this purse! It’s brown material and was made by “Queen Fashion, Made in USA”. Excellent, like new condition both inside and out!
Always pampered, this is an excellent condition vintage handbag by Nettie Rosenstein! Purse has been in my collection over 20 years. I never used it, just kept it covered and stored in my closet. Purse measures 8 ½” x 3 ½” x 4”. Super collectible!
Another vintage purse from my collection! Roger and I have debated the color of this bag – I think it’s very dark navy, he says it’s black – photo is accurate so you be the judge. Purse measures 10 ¼” x 4 ¼” x 3 ½” and is in super condition. The only “use” evidence I could find is a few storage marks and there are some marks at the clasp area (from opening the purse, scratching the bag with a fingernail – sorry, I’m certain I did that)...
This is one of the neatest vintage handbags in our inventory! As is the case with most of the vintage bags we have listed, this one is from my personal collection. Before I left the corporate world, I always carried a vintage bag (and brought my lunch in a vintage Scooby Doo metal lunchbox!). I purchased this purse many years ago at an antique show in Nashville, Tennessee. Other than a small amount of color wear to top corners, purse is in excellent condition inside and out...
Gorgeous red leather clutch style handbag! Purse has interior label “Strasberg’s, Louisville”, it measures 14” long, and is in super condition. Interior is spotless, exterior has very, very minor wear on bottom (of absolutely no consequence). From my collection, time to share!
Super neat hat! Interior band has: The Knox, “Argentine Knight”, Genuine Panama. It was made for and sold by DeJongs of Evansville, Indiana (a department store long out of business). There is also a tag that shows hat fits a 22 head size. Nice!
This hat is gorgeous! It’s black and has accent veiling and a black feather trim – see photo. Label has “Joe Bill Miller” and has is in the hat box in photo. Hat is in like new, excellent condition. Hat box shows some storage evidence/wear. The original Joe Bill Miller tag is in the box as well as original purchase receipt dated 1992. The Miller tag shows the price started at $52 and was on sale for $10 when purchased by original owner!
Well, this is the second compact that I have found in my collection that I had forgotten about! It is in the original “Richard Hudnut Vanity” cloth bag. The compact outer lid is Mother of Pearl. There is a label on mirror “Genuine Mother of Pearl by SchildKraut”. Compact measures 2 ½” x 2 1/16” (closed) and it is in mint, unused condition!
