Postcard – “Parker Bridge. This bridge was built in 1886 across Mill Creek in Putnam County near Emminence, Indiana. It is 120’ long and 16’ wide.”
Postcard – “Cornstalk Bridge. It was built in 1917 over Cornstalk Creek in Putnam County near Raccoon, Indiana. It is 82’ long and 16’ wide.” Postcard has a small bend/tear at upper right corner.
Postcard – “Pine Bluff Bridge. This bridge crosses Big Walnut Creek in Putnam County near New Maysville, Indiana. It is 211’ long and 16’ wide.”
Postcard – “Putnam County, Indiana, 14-67-05 Old Raccoon Bridge built at Raccoon in 1838 as a 2 lane bridge. Was moved ½ mile S.E. of Clinton Falls in 1938 and rebuilt into one lane over Little Walnut Cr. Burr Arch construction 122 feet.”
Postcard – “Putnam County, Indiana, 14/67/12 Manhattan Bridge located ½ mile S. of Manhattan. Built 1895 over Deer Creek. 1 span Burr Arch 120 feet.” Postcard is in excellent condition but has a drip/spot on back.
Isn’t this a pretty postcard? It’s covered bridge known as “Morgan Co. #35, located 1 1/2 miles S.W. of Eagleport, Ohio”.
Per card, this is “Union County Ohio No. 35-80-01” and is located “2 miles S.W. of Pottersburg”.
Neat postcard of “Historic Old Water Power Mill, Carroll Co., Indiana”. Per card, “equipment is still in operating condition” and “the mill is now a museum”.
