Neat tatting pattern book with copyright date of 1941! I have always appreciated the art of fine tatting but didn’t realize there were different designs – with names – I just thought tatting was tatting. This book (23 pages) shows tatting designs of “Tradition”, “Wedding Bells”, “Butterfly”, “Fleurette”, “Debut”, and “Forsythia”. There are patterns/instructions for tatted boutonnieres, refreshment and luncheon sets, doilies, collars, cuffs, hankies, and so much more! The last page has tatting “how to” directions. Book is in good condition with a perforation on back that goes into a few pages (appears to have been placed on a blunt object) – not detracting and doesn’t interfere with instructions or patterns in any way!
