VINTAGE K & K – KOTLER & KOPIT – VANITY SLIPCASE

Sometimes I’m surprised at items I find in my collections – this is one of those items that I forgot I had! It’s a combination compact with attached lipstick holder in a vanity slipcase. To open the compact, you push down on the lipstick holder - it is permanently attached to the compact. The lipstick slides out of the holder. This was made by Kotler & Kopit – K & K logo is on the powder puff/applicator. Made in the1930s, never used – no evidence of powder and there is no lipstick in the tube. It measures 3” x 2 Ό” x 3/4” and 1999 reference book values this item at $100 -- $150.00. Obviously designed for evening use, this is a super neat item for any collection!
