Mill at Pigeon Forge Counted Cross Stitch Kit NOS

This counted cross stitch kit is titled “Mill at Pigeon Forge” and was made by Puckerbrush Inc. of Valparaiso Indiana with a copyright date of 1987!

I ordered this kit from the large mail order sewing and craft supply company (before internet access). The packaging on this kit is a bit different than most. The package “cover page” is an actual photo of the completed project. The only mention of the project title is on the detailed stitching graph.

Included in the package: a color photo of the completed project, Aida cross stitch fabric, cotton embroidery floss, detailed stitching graph, and a general directions sheet. Per the stitching chart: “Graph: 10 sq. = 1 in.” “Stitches: 110 x 55.”

The kit came in the plastic bag you see in the photo. When I received the kit (all those years ago), I opened it to remove the needle because I read that needles left in fabric may rust -- I have no idea what I did with the needle so do be aware there is no needle included in this kit. The package has not been re-opened until now to take photos.
