This is a great find and a really neat McCoy cookie jar -- a lunch box shaped cookie jar in the original box!
The jar bottom is a pretty beige color with "speckles". The lid is orange with "speckles". Bottom of jar is marked 357, USA.
It is in wonderful condition -- the jar bottom has a 1/8" ding on one bottom corner edge. This little ding could actually be production, I couldn't be certain. The lid has a small place on one corner (underneath)that is a non-glaze. I believe these are typical production McFlaws -- this jar looks new and unused and was in the original box when I purchased it.
A neat jar for any collection!
