McCOY POTTERY BLUE COUNTRY CHUCK WAGON STYLE COOKIE JAR

This listing has a chuck wagon style cookie jar from McCoy's pretty Blue Country Line! I especially like McCoy's Blue Country line -- the blue and white spatter ware type colors are so pretty!

This cookie jar is shaped like a large coffee pot (like the ones seen in old Westerns).

Cookie jar measures 10 1/2" from bottom to top of lid knob type handle. Bottom of jar is marked: McCoy, Lancaster Colony (mark), USA.

Cookie jar has lost the metal bale type handle. The underside of lid has a 1/4" production blemish that at first glance appears to be a ding, it is not. It has some color in it; typical McFlaw non-glaze.

The bottom has an almost invisible, super tight 1" hairline located by the spout. It can't be seen but can be felt with fingernail. It could possibly be a glaze break. Whether a hairline or a glaze break, it doesn't go through and the jar sounds "true" when thumped.

Do not be deterred by my description -- this is a super nice cookie jar and is one that I wouldn't hesitate to add to my own collection if I didn't already have one!
