VINTAGE CELLULOID BABY RATTLE / TOY FOR DISPLAY ONLY!!!

This is a really neat and collectible vintage item -- it's a babys rattle/toy made of celluloid!

It has a rather grumpy looking little pig on front. Piggy has been shopping and "carries" a basket that appears to be "filled" with apples. At the top of toy is the word "MARKET".

One side of toy is ivory color and piggy has pretty red and blue color accents.

The other side is identical but is all pink color.

Toy measures 3 1/4" long (at longest), 2" wide (at widest), and 1 1/8" tall/thick. It is in great condition and has never been opened -- still has original beads/beans(?) inside that "rattle" when shaken or moved.

The upper edge of pink side has an indented/pressed-in spot that did not break or crack. I did not attempt to push on it because I didn't want to chance ruining this very nice vintage baby toy.
