McCOY POTTERY -- RED APPLE WITH GOLD LEAF COOKIE JAR

Lovely McCoy red apple cookie jar! This one has the gold color leaf handle, is marked on bottom: McCoy, USA, and is in very good, not perfect, condition. There is wear to the gold on stem and leaf, upper edge of leaf has a 1/8” ding, and there are a couple rough places on bottom edge of leaf (cannot be seen but can be felt). The jar has a ½” slice type chip on underside of inner lip (cannot be seen but it’s there), there is some light crazing inside bottom, and the typical color wear where lid rests on jar. Do not be deterred by my description – this is a lovely cookie jar and, given the degree of difficult in finding this particular jar, I did not consider the imperfections to be detrimental.
