McCOY POTTERY -- BASKET PLANTER (TAN)

This is a lovely McCoy planter from the Floraline line of the 1960’s! Shaped like a basket, planter has excellent mold detail – has the appearance of woven wicker and there are 3 in-mold flowers that remind me of poinsettias. Planter is a pretty tan color with a matte (bisque type) finish. Marked on bottom: 561, Floraline, Lancaster Colony (mark), USA. It’s in wonderful condition, has a couple tiny places that could be dings or production non-color/glaze – I couldn’t be certain. This is a beautiful item and its use is certainly not limited to holding a plant – would be lovely filled with scented pine cones, potpourri, soaps, candies, etc – a wonderful gift for that McCoy collector on your list.
