MANDALIAN METAL MESH HANDBAG

Beautiful Mandalian Mfg. Co. metal mesh handbag! As often happened with this type handbag, the metal is heavy and it has a tendency to pull free at the hinged area of the purse frame. I’ve looked at this area and it appears to be repairable – by a professional or someone with a lot of patience, unfortunately, I’m neither. :) There are 3 short (broken) chains in the fringe. The most evidence of “use” is the clasp – it appears to have had a clasp that fits into the circular opening on the opposite side – that part is missing so there is no closure on the purse. Since the majority of these beautiful pieces of handbag history are purchased for display rather than actual “use”, I didn’t hesitate to purchase this one because the overall condition is wonderful!
