Vintage Glass Christmas Clip Ornament

I purchased a number of unusual and vintage ornaments from an Ohio estate -- this is one of those ornaments!

I cannot 100% state this is a hot balloon shape but that's what I think. It is made of gold color glass with the end being secured inside a small spring. The spring is attached to a metal clip to clip to your Christmas tree or other decoration.

The glass portion measures 2 3/4" and as can be seen in photo, ornament is in super vintage condition.

We couldn't get it to stand upright (due to the weight and the spring)so it was photographed laying on it's side -- I rotated the enlarged photo so you can see it as it would be displayed on a tree.
