McCOY POTTERY -- BOWL (NOVELTY DISH) WITH BIRD

I’ve seen many of these pretty McCoy bowls and have sold several but this is the nicest one we’ve had in inventory! Made in 1949, this item is listed in reference books as “novelty dish with bird”. It’s a beautiful yellow color with green accenting on front and has a beautiful dark green and white bird attached to rim edge. Bowl and bird have absolutely no evidence of “use” – has obviously always been a display piece. Marked on bottom: McCoy. Beautiful item and an excellent addition to any collection!
