McCoy Pottery Tee Pee Cookie Jar

This is a difficult to find McCoy cookie jar – the tee pee!

Jar measures 11 1/8” tall and retains the majority of the original cold paint. It has excellent detail and beautiful color. The bottom is marked: McCoy, USA, 137.

It has crazing that has darkened at bottom interior and exterior – not unusual and is caused by shortening used in cookies.

The only “use” evidence is a ¼” slice type chip at the bottom edge of the lid. A prior owner color touched-up so it is not glaringly noticeable but it is there. Although not 100% perfect, this is a very nice addition to any collection and one that is certain to become even more difficult to find than it is now!
