McCOY POTTERY -- OPEN FLOWER BOOKEND (1)

This is another beautiful McCoy item – a single bookend with the open flower design! It’s in the difficult to find mustard/rust color, made in 1940, and marked with overlapping NM, USA. Bookend is in excellent condition – it has a tiny (1/16”) ding on inside top edge of a petal, not detracting in any way – and a production color/glaze rub at top edge. This single bookend is also from my collection and I displayed it with the pair of bookends (our #3244) – it has more rust color and I placed this one in the center facing forward – pretty!
