McCOY POTTERY – STRAWBERRY COOKIE JAR

These McCoy strawberry cookie jars are much more difficult to find than the larger red strawberry jars! The coloring on this one is very unusual – the jar is a pretty mauve color and the top part has white accent color. The lid is also unusual with a dark green color stem (handle). Jar is marked McCoy, USA and is in excellent condition. As with most lids on this shape strawberry, there is “use” evidence on leaf tips. One tip has a 1/8” slice type glaze chip that prior owner color touched-up. One tip has a “rub” and a pin-pop on the leaf – these are production. Another tip has a teeny glaze ding that is so small that I couldn’t be certain if “use” or production. Super jar to add to a collection!
