TWO SANTA ORNAMENTS

I’ve grouped these two Santa Claus ornaments into one listing – neither ornament is new but one is older than the other! Per reference books, these are standard from Santa shaped ornaments. The older one has a sack over his shoulder, the other holds a tree. The Santa with sack is the older of the tow and is made of thin, delicate glass. As so often happens with this fragile glass, it has sustained damage to the top. This type damage usually occurs when removing ornaments from the tree – pulling on the ornament (rather than removing the hook from the tree) causing the cap to pull out resulting in chips/breaking at top of ornament. A replacement cap has been put on so the ornament could be used but it doesn’t completely cover the chip in the back of the ornament. The Santa with tree is newer and is made of heavier glass. Both ornaments have excellent color and measure approximately 4 ½”.
