This is a lovely antimacassar set – handmade and cross-stitched!
Antimacassar sets were made to protect furniture from hair oils/dressings and from hand soiling. The large piece is designed to be placed on the back of the chair and a smaller piece is placed on each chair arm thus protecting the chair fabric.
This is a very decorative set with the cross-stitch design and all 3 pieces are in excellent condition!
As with all my linens, this set has been laundered, lightly starched, and ironed (by me) and is from a smoke free environment.
