Vintage Corning Cookmates White 7 cup Tea pot Teapot

1976 Corning introduced a "Counter-that-Cooks" electric range made with a Pyroceram cooking surface,under the smooth glass surface were four unseen heating elements. With it, Corning provided a set of Cookmates, special pots with ground and polished bottoms to assure perfect contact with the heat source.These are difficult to find. email to order. This is a 7 cup Cookmates teapot. Ktp-7 . Milk white. No design. Unusual shape. It is in good condition. Minimal scratches where metal lid fits into pot. Bottom has a few very minor scratches. Inside clean. Not tea stained. See pictures.
