2 Vintage Whataburger Restaurant Nickel Coffee Mugs STYLE: MID 1900's COFFEE MUGS MATERIALS: GORGEOUS CARMEL PRESSED GLASS DIAMETER: 3-3/8 inches HEIGHT: 3-3/4 inches TWO Caramel colored milk-glass advertising RESTAURANT Mugs from Whataburger restaurants. The coffee cups were an advertising gimmick and with the cup you could get a cup of coffee for a nickel. In excellent shape with very minor roughness on upper rims. Not chipped up. I believe these are made by Fire King. The only marks on the bottom is a very small numeral "21" on one cup and a “27" on the other. Both marked “made in usa” on bottom. These are hard to find. I love the caramel color. And the design is unique. Vintage item. ? 50's-60's. Hard to find. Email to order!
