Account of a typographical survey of the Selkirk mountain range with a review of travel and exploration, previous surveys, and mountaineering in the region. Hardbound in green cloth with gold lettering on front and spine. Bumped at corners, wear at bottom and top of spine, rear cover heavily discolored from wet-staining. Body of book is tight with no loose pages and clean with no marks or stains.

Each letter of the alphabet is illustrated by a child's name, picture and description, e.g. Gracy is grouchy, Herbert is haughty, Freddy is fat (obviously before the reign of political correctness) Cover is torn at spine to about halfway. Wraps are clean .

This scarce little book is an early work by Ruth Plumly Thompson of Oz fame. It is 10 pages long and features 8 half page full color and several half tone illustrations by Coll. Very good , clean copy. Wraps. Staples are rusty.
